Re: TS2900 Media Library.

(Back from two weeks vacation)

If you want to continue using it as a tape drive instead of a library see
if you can configure it as sequential instead of random.

If you want to use it as a library I strongly suggest using BRMS. We too
fought BRMS and learned all those commands you mentioned. Buried them
into our backup program and our operator instructions. When we decided to
start backing up from our DR lpar instead of our primary lpar we
contracted Sirius to come in and help us use BRMS. LOVE IT!
