What happens when you have PgmX close formatX?

I have some new information on the blank screen issue (I made an
assumption

that no other display files were being used here).



Pgm1 displays format1. A call to a program with a window from here
displays

correctly (the part of format1 not hidden by the window displays).



Pgm1 displays format1. There is a call to PgmX with display formatX
(full

screen - subfile). Control returns to Pgm1 and it displays format2. A
call

from here to a program with a window causes the blank screen to happen.

Looking at open display files shows the formatX (SFLCMD) from PgmX still

open.
