No crossover cable required as the ports are GbE. All compliant GbE ports have 'auto-crossover' built in per the specifications so cross over cables are fast becoming irrelevant. Oddly though, since auto-cross is in there, the use of a cross-over cable also works! :-)

POWER5 systems
Service processor A
HMC1 192.168.2.147/24
HMC2 192.168.3.147/24
Service processor B (if installed)
HMC1 192.168.2.146/24
HMC2 192.168.3.146/24

POWER6 and POWER7 systems
