We have a customer that is having a weird terminal emulation problem:
it
seems that when they open a terminal emulation session (our emulator),
even though the emulator is supposedly set to emulate a color terminal,
and ID itself as such, the OS thinks it's monochrome.
I have a vague memory of something like this happening, even with a
real
terminal, but I don't remember the cause or the cure.
The user's emulator is *not* set to request a specific device name.
