The CPYTOIMPF command changed behavior in V5R3 in regard to fields in a database file that have a CCSID of 65535. It doesn't translate those fields from EBCDIC to ASCII anymore. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Subject: Problems with SNDEMAILR

I have a customer that upgraded to a new i on Friday going from V5R2 to V5R4. For some reason this morning, the RPG utility SNDEMAILR that I have been using for years is creating the MIME message in the temp directory as all garbage. I have checked the QCCSID and it it correct. I am not sure what else to check. Any ideas?

TIA

Jon
