No.
But, if the *SRVPGM is still activated after you change it, you'll need
to end any activation groups that have already loaded it. (If you're
running it through Run SQL Scripts, simply closing/opening the Run SQL
Scripts window seems to take care of that.)
But, no, unless you change the parameters, object name, or something
else that's coded in the Create Function statement, you shouldn't have
to drop/create.
