Care to elaborate?
Now I am just waiting for IBM and the BP to stop measuring anatomy.

This is the FC #5708 feature double wide SAS RAID card with on-board
redundant Cache.
The blue handle needs to be removed if you're going to install it in the
CEC. Two little screws do that.
Physically this IS two cards that are connected together so there is a
possibility that the connection isn't fully operational. The card
should work in either of the system unit or the 0595 too so you've not
done a bad thing :-)
So it sounds like it's bad to me, or that connection needs to be re
seated. You could also try IPLing that card in service tools but you
should certainly see the 575C and 572F cards as you do on your other
partition.

Tried placing a 2 slot RAID card with a label on it that says 575C intomy

CEC in the last two slots. But I couldn't figure out how to fit thatblue
carrying handle into the back plane. It goes off at an angle and the--
objects in the back didn't. I did remember to pinch the two terra cotta
things together and lift the little flap but that didn't help.
So, the BP said I should be able to fit it into an 0595 into slots 3 and
4. One of the cards show up as only Occupied but the other shows up as
575C. On the HMC C03 shows up allocated to that lpar but Unknown. It
doesn't work.
Type- Resource
Description Model Name Location
System Expansion Unit 0595-001 FR02
Backplane 28BE P03 CB1
...
Occupied Position CB1-C03
Storage IOA 575C-001 P28 CB1-C04
On another rack containing one of these cards it looks more like:
Type- Resource
Description Model Name Location
System Unit 789D-001 FR12
Active Backplane 293B P270 P1
Storage IOA 572F-001 P74 P1-C4
Storage IOA 575C-001 P58 P1-C5
I did the installation with the entire rack powered off. Both slots are
allocated to the same lpar.
