Pete,

Thanks for the heads up. We have 4 programmers here, and none can be at the
conference. When I heard of this from another source I went to the COMMON
site to see what sessions would be offered via the internet. I could not
find that information. Is that posted on the COMMON web site?

Thanks!

Jim

I don't know if everyone saw this, but there are two parts to this. First,
COMMON is going to be streaming the opening session live to everyone who
wants to see it. Free, no charge at all. Then, we are also going to do a
virtual conference for those who can't make the actual conference (for this
there is a fee). We hope both of these can help bring information to
everyone who can't attend COMMON. Remember, that COMMON has the Best Power
System's speakers in the world, so it's a great way to sample some
education
to improve your skills. For those people who keep hearing about COMMON,
but
have never been able to attend a conference, or for those people who
haven't
been to COMMON in a few years, this is a great chance to see what COMMON is
all about, and get a little of the "buzz". You know, the last few
conferences I could feel that "buzz" in the sessions, in the hallways, in
our events at night, and it was great. Of course, being President I might
be a little biased, but I don't think so. I have learned a great deal over
the years from COMMON, and I continue to learn from people at the
conference
at every conference I attend.

I hope to see you in Minneapolis, but if not I hope you are able to take
advantage of both of these offerings and improve and enhance your skills.

COMMON Unveils New Virtual Education Product - COMMON LIVETRACK

Stream Opening Session and Nine Education Sessions Live from
COMMON 2011 Annual Meeting and Exposition in Minneapolis

April 12, 2011 - COMMON today unveiled a new product, COMMON LIVETRACK, to
further provide more virtual education options to the Power Systems
community. This new product will allow those who are not able to attend the
upcoming COMMON Annual Meeting and Exposition in Minneapolis to still be a
part of the largest gathering of the Power Systems user community. Anyone
in
the world will be able to stream the Opening Session, which officially
kicks
off the Annual Meeting, live to their computer, and hear and see what's new
and exciting in COMMON and IBM.

In addition to the free live streaming of Opening Session, LIVE TRACK will
also offer a cost-effective option to stream nine education sessions
directly from the COMMON Annual Meeting. These nine sessions, delivered
over
three days, offer a wide variety of topics, all delivered by some of the
most recognized experts in the industry. A complete list of sessions
included in the LIVETRACK education offering can be found at
http://www.common.org/livetrack.

"LIVE TRACK is a great way to educate the community about what's new and
exciting in the Power Systems world by streaming the Opening Session from
the Annual Meeting to everyone at no charge," said Pete Massiello, COMMON
President. "It allows those that could not attend to still be a part of the
largest gathering of the Power Systems user community and hear from COMMON
and IBM ."

"The LIVETRACK education sessions allow those who can't come to the
conference to still reap the benefits of leading education from some of the
most recognized Power Systems experts in the world. What a great way to
receive the value of COMMON at your desk with little or no travel expense
that you can include as part of your daily schedule."

COMMON Annual Meeting Opening Session

The 2011 Annual Meeting and Exposition officially kicks off with the
Opening
Session hosted by COMMON and IBM starting at 3:00 pm on Sunday. COMMON
