The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Anybody know, off-hand, an easy way for a CL program to find out
what source member a program (or the main entry-point module of
a multi-module program) was compiled from?
The idea is to go through a list of programs, and refresh them.
If the program was updated with that information using the Change
Object Description (QLICOBJD) API for key-1 details then RTVOBJD SRCF()
SRCFLIB() SRCMBR() or that same information obtained via the Retrieve
Object Description (QUSROBJD) API would be an option. If not, then for
non-OPM programs I believe the List ILE Program Information (QBNLPGMI)
API will retrieve the desired details.
The Retrieve Program Information (QCLRPGMI) API may give the same as
Retrieve Object Description for the Source File [Library and Member]
from the *SERVICE details [DETAIL() of DSPOBJD], but possibly instead
from details specific to the object type itself. The QCLRPGMI API will
however name the "Program entry procedure module [and library]" for
which if on the system where programs are created, the Retrieve Module
Information (QBNRMODI) API may be desirable for the "refresh" activity.?
