We finally got it working. We deleted the configuration files from
/users/nandelin/tn5250j/ and let the program recreate them. That seemed to be
the thing that made it possible to save configuration settings.

Thanks to those who helped.

Subject: TN5250J didn't survive move to Windows 7

It runs, but none of the session or keyboard definitions are saved, which is a
big problem. This problem was discussed a little in the archives, but that
didn't help much. Before my upgrade to Windows 7, key mapping and session
configurations were stored in "keymap" and "sessions" files, in folder
/users/nandelin/.tn5250j/

My .java.policy file was in folder /users/nandelin/

Is there a trick to installing TN5250J under Windows 7?
