I can understand the SA getting mad. However I can understand
accidentally getting my profile disabled by others. For example, in
Windows (back when everyone in the department had desktops) I was working
one weekend doing an upgrade on the OS. So I took that time to log on to
everyone's PC in the department and upgrade their iSeries Access. Then I
logged off of their PC. Problem was that the user defaulted to me instead
of them. When the user tried to log on they didn't pay any attention to
the user and they kept trying their password until I was disabled from
Windows. So now, after logging off I replace the user name with some
obscenity. It's a real eye catcher.

We are implementing Tivoli Identity Manager (or ITIM). This will have a
web site where you can reply to a set of challenge questions and get your
own account reset. Our help desk logged their calls and a bulk of their
calls were password resets. Haven't implemented the password website yet
but changing my windows password and automatically having all ten lpar's,
Notes, and everything else all synced up kicks tail. And if you have ROB
and ROBSECOFR both tied to Windows user ROB it can sync both those also.
If I could figure out an API way to change my SST account I am sure it
could do that also. Hmm, api..., I wonder if I could do that to sync
CHGSVRAUTE? Bet I could...
