That folder contains much more than IBM Client Access (though now I think about it I'm not sure there _is_ any CA stuff there). For example, your JAVA stuff is all under there.

Definitely look into SAV. SAVSYS does not save anything in the IFS... and /QIBM is squarely in the IFS.
