You need to be careful when pulling the new bezel out, and perhaps you
disconnected it. I have seen this happen on a recent Power720. We had to
just reconnect the cables to the bezel and it worked fine.

I am attempting to setup a new system. All shipped in new IBM racks
with dual PDU's. Powered up the system and configured the HMC. Great
wizard makes it really easy. Sent a test call with no problems. Check
the HMC software and it has the latest service packs installed.
V7R7.2.0 SP1.
Powered up the disk expansion, tape drive, card expansion and the CPU
will not light up the control panel. DOA.
IBM is on the way to see what is going on as the power supplies show
they have power but the control panel is blank and the link to the HMC
will not light up. Pressing the power button the control panel does
nothing.
Anyone out there have any suggestions of what I can try while waiting
for IBM?
