My Blackberry shows my work email in addition to emails sent to
name@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. I've turned off the beeping and vibrating of
emails to my work, but I have an obnoxious ring tone to wake the dead on
the other account. The only stuff going to that should be "system down"
kind of stuff.

In my hmc I set up "Customize Network Settings":
Console name: hmc01
Domain name: DEKKO-1
In Service Management, Manage Serviceable Event Notification I have my
regular email along with my blackberry account. My SMTP server is
internotes.dekko-1. Test email to regular email (work) goes fine. Test
email to vzw fails with:
Router: Error transferring message 0053A956 via SMTP to
mx03.bis.na.blackberry.com,mx04.bis.na.blackberry.com,mx01.bis.na.blackberry.com,mx02.bis.na.blackberry.com
553 #5.1.8 Domain of sender address
<ElectronicServiceAgent_hmc01@hmc01.DEKKO-1> does not exist
I am taking that as vzw is trying something to avoid spam and get's a
little picky.
I'd hate to have to rename my HMC from hmc01 to dekko and my Domain name
from DEKKO-1 to COM just to get this to work. Thoughts include:
Setting up a notes agent to forward a copy of all hmc work emails to the
vzw account.
Any other suggestions? Is there some other area of the HMC to change who
the email comes from?
