According to the APAR details, there is no PTF available yet; yet,
because "CLOSED PER" indicates that a PTF should be forthcoming. If an
APAR seems a probable match, then open a PMR asking if your issue might
be the "same" and if you might be able to apply a TestPTF [which may
already exist, but would not appear on the public APAR] to both verify
the proposed PTF change is preventive\corrective without apparent side
effects. If a PTF were publicly available, the APAR should be part of
the published PTF cover letter text; i.e. a link to the PTF should be
found by searching the APAR.
