you can do something like this...

Exec SQL
Select SCVNDA, SCMDL Into :WkSetFirstChildVnda, :WkSetFirst
From InvSxrP
Where SSVNDA = :WkVnda And
SSMDL = :WkMdl
Order By SCSEQ#
Fetch First Row Only;
