I have this in my personal notes. Maybe this can help:

If just one record is required, SELECT LSTDTE, LSTTME FROM
$(library).CUSTACT FETCH FIRST ROW ONLY
If more than one record is required, SELECT LSTDTE, LSTTME FROM
$(library).CUSTACT FETCH FIRST (# of rows) ROWS ONLY
