Downloading some PTFs and, like an idiot with my mind still on
vacation, I forgot to switch the namefmt from 0 to 1 and download
the .bin files to the IFS. Now I have 4 files in my library like
this:
mylib/SF99115_1(bin)

I tried doing a CPYTOSTMF like this:
CPYTOSTMF
FROMMBR('/qsys.lib/mwalter.lib/SF99115_4.file/bin.mbr')
TOSTMF('/fixes/sf99115_4.bin')
STMFOPT(*REPLACE)

However, when I load the files into the IMGCLG and try to verify, it
fails.

Is there a way to copy these files from the /Qsys.lib file system to
the IFS so they can be loaded. Or can I load the file right to the
IMGCLG using the IFS naming convention from the QSYS.LIB file system?

For "binary data" files, I presume better results would be had using the option CVTDTA(*NONE) versus the default of CVTDTA(*AUTO); as I recall the default assumption for that copy feature, is to treat the data as "character data" files.?
