We are currently working on implementing software based backup encryption
via the features in BRMS. I have some test keys setup (master,
save/restore, and encryption key in a keystore) and have done testing to
see all the various pieces work (encrypted saves, attempting to display the
tapes with/without the encryption key in place, etc.).

Has anyone implemented this type of setup? I am looking for advice on how
to handle management of the keys... the central keystore on the 'i' makes
it easy and simple in a functional way, but i'm also looking for advice on
procedural things like:

who creates the keys?
who knows the pass phrases for the keys?
who keeps a physical copy of the key pass phrases?
how are the keys handled if they change over time?

I'm not even sure I know all the right questions to ask on this angle...
