Hi Kirk,

On Fix Central if you do the following:

Enter the PTF's ie "mh01127,mh01110,mh01082,mh01128" in the "Individual fix
IDs" and you will get through to the order your fixes and you should be a
for away.

Let me know if that doesn't work for you. It'll be quicker than sending from
here.

Paul

I did fat finger the MH01127... and I thought I might have taken the wrong

Fix Central
Product Group = System i
Product = Firmware and HMC
Processor type = Power5 and Power6 class
Machine Type - Model = 9406-520 ( which the current machine is )
Which then sends me to
HMC Firmware. Obtain HMC Recovery images, service packs, and specific
fixes.

Where I can pick 7.3.1-7.3.5 and 7.7.1 and 7.7.2

If I pick All Firmware, it gives me a couple of 7.3.5 options...

I think I have a source for the fixes I need. So I will see what morning
brings...

Fair chance that you made an unintentional 'err' when selecting the
ssytem in Fix Central. For releases older than 7.7 you must to down the
"System i" path to get to those version. For POWER you get the newer
version displayed.

I have a client that I need to upgrade his HMC to support a new Power7
box.
The HMC itself is the correct model, but it is running 6.1.3 code. I
need
to
get it up to 7.7.2. Per IBM's doc on going from 6.1.3 to 7.7.2 I need
to...
#1 Apply MH01082, MH01110 and MH01128
#2 Apply MH011027
#3 Upgrade to 7.3.4.0 via Recovery Media
#4 Upgrade to 7.7.2.0 via Recovery Media

Here's the rub, it appears Fix Central doesn't know that any HMC
release
prior to V7 Exists. I can't Order/Download the 4 MHxxxxx fixes I need
and
I
need these Tuesday. Anyone have access to these? I'll try IBM
tomorrow,
but I not very confident I will be able to get them from IBM on this
short
notice.
Thanks in Advance
