You can put multiple QSH commands in a single CMD parameter. There are separators that behave differently - 1 stops if the preceding command fails, another keeps going.

You should look up pipelines and lists in the QShell manual - it tells you all about this.

Hello all

We have some applicaions in our iSeries that require a number of agents
running

The way they do this is by usnig the STRQSH command

Then they do simple things

Cmd 1 = Change the directory
Cmd 2 = Activate AGENT

done

Is there a simple way to do this *INTERACTIVELY from a menu options
without having to ener those statements ?

I have seen some references but it seems to me that there is a restriction
to the number of statements that can de run

Can I do something like

STRQSH cmd(&cmd1 to change directory)

back to CL program

next command is

STRQSH cmd(&cmd2 to Activate AGENT)

Endpgm

thanks for your responses
