Yes, I'm running Windows 7 64bit. My laptop has the i7-720QM. It runs at
1.6 GHz when in 8 core mode, and 2.8 in "Turbo" or 4 core mode. It
decides what mode to run on without any intervention on the user's part.
Email me off list and I will be happy to share specs and prices for my
machine.

RDPi / RBD hardware
Brian May:
Joe,
I highly recommend springing for the i7 chip for yourself. RBD and RDi
both SCREAM on an i7 and 6 gigs of RAM on my new laptop. Now, I if I
can
convince the wife that i really NEED the SSD upgrade. :)
Last questions before we go irretrievably offtopic:
Are you running this on Windows 7? Oh, and what's the speed of the i7?
Because I see i7s out there right around the $1000 mark.
