What method are you using for the download ?

Access or cpytoimpf or the built-in that goes
with Excel ?

All three methods do it a "tad" differently so
the method is needed for an explanations.

file on the iSeries. There are two date fields in mdcy format displayed
as MM/DD/CCYY. When the data is exported, a numeric value for that date
is what arrives. Ex: 10/30/2010 appears as `40481`. How can the data be
