Rather than removing members, I've found it less invasive to change
any logical files that are MAINT(*IMMED) to MAINT(*REBLD), do the
physical file change, then change the logicals back to MAINT(*IMMED).

I used OPNDBF with OPTION(*INP) against each logical file after
changing it back to MAINT(*IMMED) to force the logical to be rebuilt
synchronously in the job.
