I have an icon on my quick launch bar with the following:
"C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Shared\cwbundbs.exe"

Opens Run SQL Scripts directly without needing to start iNav.

But that's kinda my point Paul.  I rarely need the other functionality
(read bloat) that comes with opening Navigator so it's an unnecessary
resource hog.  Since I rarely use any of the application why fire it up
daily "just in case"?  I almost always have a telnet session up so it's
just faster for me.  To each his/her own, the only real nice thing about
using scripts is the ability to copy/paste without having to modify the
statements so they fit STRSQL's command/statement line.

Now Tommy - not an issue if you already have Navigator already fired up
and ready to go. Click on the Navigator icon after you click on your
5250 icon :-)

Seriously, I much prefer Scripts to STRSQL.

Tommy,

Surely it would just be simpler to use Run SQL Scripts <g>

Have you tried HELP on the message?  The similar one for SEU tells you

to

disable that one via PDM defaults.  Maybe same option for STSQL?

I don't know how to turn it off, but I don't get the message either.

I'm

for
