The only time I have ever encountered the door open error it required the
tape library to be reset / rebooted (it's been a while so can't remember
whether it's referred to as a reset or a reboot, but basically the age old
solution of turn it off, turn it on again). Doing the reset from the
interface didn't work, it had to be done from the control panel of the
device itself, but I guess it's worth trying the reset from the interface
first.

Tape Library Issue
Hi,
We have issue with the tape library and when we do WRMLMBRM,we get the
error 'Media library TAPMLB03 door open, please close door'.We have asked
the operator onsite to close the dorr as per the above error but it does
not seem to solve the problem.
We have TS3310 for the web interface.Can anyone please suggest if it is
possible to check the reason for this error and fix this remotely.
