POWERSHiFT looks like a good event. I see that Jon and Susan are on the roster, and they are 2 of the principals in the RPG/DB2 Summit, as well.

This event seems pretty deeply-sponsored - vendor presentations, all that, so I can see that it could cost less. The main contact is with Penton, the publisher of several magazines.

But I think you'd get good info at POWERSHiFT - there is a tremendous amount of practical info at RPG/DB2 - been there - done that - have the t-shirt and bag and silly picture in front of a green-screen!

Good luck!
Vern

I was absolutely gutted to have my request to go to the European RPG and DB2 summit at Paris turned down. Today I received an invitation for POWERSHiFT at Manchester, England. The price made me rethink about paying my own way to go to Paris

I think it would help if we could learn about these events a little earlier : POWERSHiFT is only 2 weeks away.

Also, I wondered what you thought about the content :

POWERSHiFT 1day = 90Â + VAT https://www.regonline.co.uk/builder/site/tab2.aspx?EventID=828985
RPG and DB2 summit 2 days = 1000 â + VAT !! http://www.arcadsoftware.com/mailing/fr-rpgdb2-2010/Invitation-RPG-DB2%20Summit-programme.html
