Are you asking about non-Zend implementations of PHP like Roadsend PHP?
At our site we run open source Zend PHP on x86 server.
Our web applications connect to IBM i server with DB2 Connect.
We do not use Zend Server for IBM i because our network web guy is an
open source fanatic and dislikes all things IBM. So we have not
installed
Zend Server for IBM i.
Zend Platform for i5/OS (Zend Core) has begun the end-of-life process.
Zend Server for IBM i is Zend's solution for running PHP applications on
the IBM i platform, encompassing a complete and reliable PHP stack,
performance optimization tools, application monitoring and root cause
analysis, and more.
