You can't limit saves by attribute - long have I wished for this with files. You might be served best by the QSRSAVO API - let's you have more than 300 object items (generic is OK). Here's an article (2nd in a series) that helps with using this API. There's a link to the first article in this one.

You could do some object listing that'd recognize the attribute, then put those into this API.
