Just teach the user to type WRKSPLF and press F4=Prompt, followed by F10=Additional parameters, and change the ASTLVL to *INTERMED, and then press Enter. From then on, they will have that level. Or, once in WRKSPLF show them how they can press F21=Change assistance level to change the assistance level that way.
