Well you'd need it to be an H2X drive as there is no LVD support on
170. (H=HVD)
You'd need a 2729 card (2749 won't work on 170).
V5R3 absolutely supports LTO2
Worth a try. I know I would but my LTO-2 drives are -L23s.
