Re: HMC upgrade 6.1.3 to 7.7.1 ?

As of last week IBM does NOT recommend installing SP2 on V7.7.1.

Try using the HMC update wizard for learning what firmware is compatible with which software.

I believe IBM offers a "recommended" and a "current" release of firmware.

We just went with SF240_358 and V7.7.1 SP1 on several systems and all is well.
