If it's hanging in SND status, LPR (RMTPRTWTR) is waiting on LPD from
your printer to respond.
1) Printer is not turned on
2) LPD on printer has not been started
3) Port number mismatch
4) Firewall blocking the ports

I think the approach you gave was more a long the lines of a remote
outq, correct? I ran the following two commands and sent a spool file
to outq ZEBRA18, and the spool file just sits there.

CRTOUTQ OUTQ(zebra18) RMTSYS(*INTNETADR) RMTPRTQ('1') CNNTYPE(*IP)
DESTTYPE(*OTHER) TRANSFORM(*YES) MFRTYPMDL(*WSCST) WSCST(QWPDEFAULT)
INTNETADR('192.168.1.102') SEPPAGE(*NO)

STRRMTWTR OUTQ(ZEBRA18)

Type options, press
Enter.
1=Send 2=Change 3=Hold 4=Delete 5=Display 6=Release

Thoughts on why it might be stalling out using your method of a remote
writer?

I was able to get it to spit out a blank label by changing the
MFRTYPMDL parm to *WSCST and then the WSCST parm to QWPDEFAULT.

Interestingly, that's exactly what i sent you as a sample config ;)
