The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

The &FIELD method only works in QM queries, not WRKQRY.
AFIK, the original query product did not have this ability.
You can easily convert your old query to a QM query and then change the
headings.

Subject: Re: WRKQRY - getting the SELECT records date range to show in the title
"You can use &FIELD, where FIELD is the field name from a file. I would
imagine that it would also work on a derived field. I think that it must
be specified in upper case, but it's been a while since I've used that
feature, so I'm not 100% sure.

Hi Mark!
I tried both ways (a field from a file and a work field), always in
uppercase, and it does not work like that. Looks like this &FIELD is
simply treated as a constant value and is not interpreting it as a field
value. You will have the title "&FIELD" included in your page headings
and or footings, that is all .
Can you give us an example of how you do it?
