I also use hostgator for hosting. I'm in their reseller program and
working on a hosting product that will need a dedicated server. Their
customer service is the best I've seen. Live chat or phone support. Plus
they have forums for community help that they also monitor and respond to.
I have had no instances of down time with them and I've been with them
for over a year now. Great prices too.

Been hosting 20 or so domains on hostgator for about a year now. I'm
pretty impressed. I have a monitor application that tries to retrieve
the default page on each site every 15 minutes 24/7. There have been no
instances of down-time.
