I've been using Hostasaurus.com for my hosting and they are awsome. Servers
are never down, tech support is in the states and in english and they ALWAYS
go the extra mile to get things right.
Invision Power is also very good, I've been hosting a social site there for
a long time. Especialy great if you want to run some forums. They'll do
all the work for you. http://www.invisionpower.com/hosting/website.php

Today _all_ of their name servers are up and down (mostly down) and it
is causing me no end of grief. Not a word about the problems on their
support page of course!
Anyone got any suggestions for a good alternative host? I'm not too
keen on GoDaddy - heard too many nasty stories but any suggestions
welcome. Of course if the servers don't come back I may never see you
response but ...
