When we send spooled files to Outlook, Word 2003Â opens it and the wavey lines are the result. in the spool.ÂÂIfÂwe pull down Tools, Options, compatibility and turn off âBalance SBCS characters and DBCS charactersâ it fixes the condition.

Can you please suggest if anything on AS400 or Windows can be done to fix this as we have to do this operation again and again.
