This version contains the log and other jars. Why at home it would work with
the version with just the TN5250J jar and not work at work I don't know.

And, just to clarify, what do you mean by the "full version" (just so I
can update the distribution I have).

Very weird. I switched to the full version and it started working.

I run mine using

"C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -jar "C:\tn5250j\tn5250j.jar"

in a shortcut so that I don't get the DOS box.

I have it installed on my netbook running 7 and I don't see that
behavior.

It is installed in \program files\tn5250j\bin running the tn5250j.bat
file. It isn't running in compatibility mode and I have full access to
it. I am running Java 6 Update 19.

I can't see anything else that would cause the issue (although 7 is a
little snotty about security).

Has any had problems with TN5250J not remembering setup on Windows 7?

I have exactly the same version (Version from Pete's Workshop)
installed

at

home on Windows 7 64-bit and it works fine but I just loaded Windows 7
Professional on my work laptop and every time that I create the

connections

and change the keyboard maps when I exit and go back in all the setup
is
gone. I cannot find a TN5250J folder in /Users so not sure what is
going

on.

Anybody else run into this? Thanks for any help.
