Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on configuring virtual CPU to
get the best performance with a heavy SQL workload. Say we have a
partition with one full CPU. I'm assuming SQL would perform better with
more than one virtual, but does anyone have any guidelines? Two? Ten?

I've had a look at the V6R1 Performance Capabilities Reference manual but
there doesn't seem to be any SQL specific guidelines, at least as far as I
can see.

Any advice, feedback or personal experience is appreciated.

Thanks
