Charles is right. No difference.

Having said that, the description of what's going on does not match (even
distantly) the original statement of design.

I don't have any time to thoroughly test this, but a CL or CLLE
program shouldn't be handled any differently than an RPG or RPGLE one.

AFAIK, there's nothing different about the compiled *PGM object.
