Thanks Rob. Using Ingenico signature capture/swipe pads and Verifone s/w.
Those Ingenico devices seem to run and run, and they're pretty good at
picking up swipes. I know what you mean...I have a debit card that used to
work about 50% of the time at the bank. Then one day it started working
fine. Same wallet...same behind. I think it was a firmware update to the
credit card swipers.
