Well I finally was able to download what was reported as WAS 7.0 from ESS...
The descriptoin was very clear that it was 7.0, but the actual content was
6.1 :(

I have ordered physical media and it should be here next week. Hope IBM can
put the correct media in the package.

The download was no different from the CD's I had which came bundled
free with the OS. The CD's were labled "IBM Web Enablement for i" and
then in even smaller letters at the bottom "Websphere Application Server
- Express V7.0". Took me a while to find the correct CD's since there
is a Windows, AIX, and Linux distro of Express as well (IIRC).
