V6R1 .Net Data Provider version changed so your app most likely needs to
be updated to handle it.

Also did you install the .Net Data Provider on Windows 7 ? Works fine
here.

It's most likely looking for this file: IBM.Data.DB2.iSeries.DLL

Yes ... SI37892 is installed ... We have an in-house written application
that uses .NET. It works just fine with the 5.4 client accessing a 5.4
host or with the 6.1 client accessing the 5.4 host ... As long as we run
from XP SP3 ... When we try on Win7 we get a GREAT error message ...
File not found ... Of course it doesn't tell us what file isn't found
!!!!

Could the problem be that Win7 is using it's own .NET drivers and XP was
using .NET drivers supplied by IBM ?????

For Access for Windows 6.1 one needs service pack SI35607 or later in
order to run on Win 7. Do they?

Is anyone using .NET support with Windows 7 and connecting to a V5R4
system?

OR

System i Access for Windows 6.1 .NET support with Windows 7 and
connecting to a V5R4 system?

The desktop support team here at NW natural has indicated that is isn't
working. I'm wondering if this is a Win7 issue or an IBM System i Access
for Windows issue...
