See CFGTCP, 2. Work with TCP/IP routes.
Traditionally you have one entry in here.
Route Subnet Next Preferred
Destination Mask Hop Interface
*DFTROUTE *NONE 10.10.10.1 *NONE

Where 10.10.10.1 is the IP address of the first router between your i and
the rest of your network. If the address of your i is 10.17.24.202 then
"traditionally" your router would be 10.17.24.1. YMMV.

Can you ping the printer? For example if your printer's address is
10.29.32.48 and you type in
PING '10.29.32.48'
and it returns the ping, then the odds are nil that you are having a route
issue.
Pings look prettier if you run them from CALL QCMD.
If you are calling it my name (ie P2) then ping it by name. If it fails
to find the IP address then you are having a DNS issue.

Keep us posted.
