There's an example from a long-ago magazine article on doing just that
in the FAQ. The idea is to create the QMQRY object with only variables
(&A&B&C&D&E) and have a CL program parse out the input into 50 character
chunks to feed the variables. I've been using it since the dinosaurs
roamed the earth.
