Did you ever do anything with this ?
Was there a reason other than Java performance why you made the SVNservice a background job ?
Your last article mentioned the following:
"In my next article, I'll tackle this by providing PDM options that can
be entered to submit a member to the SVN repository, and in the same
vein allow for pulling a different version down from the repository to
load onto the System i platform."
Did you ever do anything with this ? Might be useful as a PDM
integration thought process.
Was there a reason other than Java performance why you made the SVN
service a background job ? Seems to add a layer of complexity that
isn't needed if you use the SVNKIT commands directly which seems to work
quite well.

I haven't been following this thread entirely, but here is a SVN client
I ported to the IBM i awhile back:

So I guess the IBM i to SVN interface is done :-)
Note there is still a lot that could be done to this SVN tool before it
really became useful.

I think that building an interface between the AS/400 and Subversion
would enough of a challenge without throwing in a complete CMS which
would be
AS/400 specific. Huge project and we would be lucky to get a AS/400 to
SVN interface done.
