Setting up IPP server for the first time. Have the server running and netstat shows listening on 631. Used the admin site to setup two printers, one pointing to a queue and one to a printer. Server is running. I did have to install two ptfs from IBM to get it running. Admin site was throwing java errors. I set them up for TLS authentication and assigned my certificate to the server in DCM. When I try and connect my windows desktop to the url to print to it gives me an error. I get asked to logon when I try and add a printer pointing to the url (eg http://iSeriesName:631/ipp/printers/NETPRINT but get an error "The current setting is not accepted by the server, please try a different one." Nothing on the iseries server logs show anything other than the connection attempt. Does anyone know if this is something I am doing wrong in windows and is a windows issue or is something I don't have right server side? Do I need to grant authority to the queue or printer to a special userid like I do for cgi jobs? Nothing in the instructions said anything about that.
