Cloud SAN might be in there somewhere. Something about 7.1's asynchronous
Geographic Mirroring makes me contemplate the possibilities. Granted,
that's not the primary SAN - that's the backup. However, aren't you
supposed to have the ability to actually USE the backup if the primary
goes down?
A SAN specialist, I'm NOT.
