Yes...the cpyf sounds like a possible solution.

If you want to roll your own, you would need two files, one with the header
info and one with the detail data. Create a STMF file with your header info,
using the same delimiters as your CSV file, and CPY it to a new STMF, let's
call it MyFile.CSV. Then, with the CPYTOIMPF command *ADD your detail data
to MyFile.CSV
