The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

In the Early Days of the S/38 - AS/400 - iSeries - i - there were some
functions that could not be interrupted. As the system grew and
matured, several of them were modified so even though they were 'not
interruptable,' they would pause every now and then and see what was
going on in the real world.
CPYF is one that I remember-- it used to be that once started it would
not end until it was done copying. Then the process was modified so
that the copy would sort of 'pop its head up' now and then to see if the
job had received a 'cancel request' and then abort the copy.
If I remember correctly, things like clearing a job/out/message queue
used to be unstopable as well, but (if there's enough in the queue) may
take a breath now and then and let you stop the process.
There are undoubtably other functions that the machine considers
'critical' that can't be stopped.
